The way I work

Musician to musician.
Direct, considered, collaborative.

What I can help with

Whatever stage
you’re at.

A fresh idea, an almost-finished production, or a mix ready for its final pass. We can start where you are.

01

Mixing

Bring the whole record together.

Vocal balance, low end, depth and dynamics, shaped around your rough mix and references. A mix that carries the feeling of the song and translates beyond the studio.

02

Mastering

Give the final details the attention they need.

A fresh listen to the finished mix, with tonal balance, level and consistency across your release. Final delivery formats are agreed around your release plans.

03

Production

Build a record around your voice and ideas.

Develop a song from a voice note or demo through arrangement, instrumentation and sound. Live musicianship and electronic production, with space to find what suits you.

04

Co-production

Take a promising track further, together.

Another pair of ears when a track needs a new direction, stronger arrangement or a few considered additions. We work from what you already love about it.

A little about me

Artist.
Musician.
Your collaborator.

I’m Cadyn Lewis — a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. I also write and release music as KDYN.

I’m British-Guyanese, from South-East London and now based in Chichester. My background brings live musicianship together with electronic production, with roots in soul, pop, R&B, garage and house. I work across genres, listening to what each song needs.

Sometimes that means finding a part that changes the arrangement. Sometimes it’s making room for the vocal, or getting the low end to sit properly. Every project starts with your influences and the feeling you want the listener to take away.

Alongside work with other artists, my own releases as KDYN have appeared through labels including Positiva/EMI, Monstercat, Needwant and Revealed Recordings. Being an artist myself shapes how I approach the music you share with me.

How we’ll work

A clear starting point.

  1. 01

    Send me what you’re making.

A private demo or rough mix, a couple of references, and a little about the sound you’re after. Let me know your deadline and which parts you need help with.

  2. 02

    Agree on the approach.

We’ll discuss what the record needs, then agree the scope, fee, schedule, revision rounds and deliverables before work begins.

  3. 03

    Listen, refine, finish.

You work directly with me. We’ll exchange feedback against the agreed direction, work through the details, and prepare the final files for your release.

A few practical things.

Can I send an unfinished track?

Absolutely. A rough mix or demo is enough to start a conversation. Tell me which elements you want to keep and where you feel stuck.

How much will my project cost?

Send me the track, the service you need and your release plans. I’ll quote for the scope, with the fee, schedule, revision rounds and delivery formats agreed before we begin.

Can we work remotely, or across several releases?

Yes. I work remotely with artists and producers, and can discuss EPs, albums or ongoing work with independent labels. Let me know the number of tracks and your release schedule.
